These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of findhertrade.com and related services (the "Service"), owned and operated by SunStone Associates LLC ("Find Her Trade," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or posting content, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.2. The service
Find Her Trade is an online directory and review platform that helps homeowners discover women-owned contracting businesses and women service technicians, and lets users read and post reviews. The Service is a venue that provides information and connections. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any home-improvement, repair, or construction work.3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.4. Accounts
Some features require an account, which you can create with an email address or a supported third-party login (such as Google). You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and remain responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.5. Reviews & user content
You are responsible for the reviews, ratings, and other content you submit ("User Content"). When you post User Content, you agree that:- It reflects your genuine, first-hand experience and is honest and not misleading;
- It is not false, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or unlawful, and does not infringe anyone's rights or privacy;
- You will not post content in exchange for payment, or post fake, incentivized, or competitor-sabotaging reviews.
6. Listings, verification & no endorsement
Please read carefully. Find Her Trade is a directory, not a party to any agreement between homeowners and professionals. We do not employ, control, or guarantee any listed professional, and hiring decisions are yours alone.Professionals listed on the Service may complete identity and background verification performed by an independent third-party verification provider. Any "verified" status, badge, or seal indicates only that certain checks were completed through that provider at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of a professional's identity, licensing, insurance, qualifications, safety, honesty, or the quality or outcome of any work. You are solely responsible for evaluating any professional and for your own safety. Before hiring, we encourage you to independently verify licensing and insurance, obtain written estimates and contracts, check references, and use your own judgment. Any contract, payment, dispute, or relationship you enter into with a professional is strictly between you and that professional.
7. Professional applicants
If you apply to be listed, you represent that all information you submit — including your name, company, skills, licensing, and bio — is accurate and current, and that you hold any licenses and insurance required for your trade and location. You consent to the identity and background verification process, and you agree we may decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion. Listing does not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and SunStone Associates LLC.8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:- Violate any law or the rights of others;
- Post false, fraudulent, or misleading content, including fake reviews;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Harass, threaten, or harm others, or collect others' information without consent;
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service without permission;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
- Use the Service for any purpose other than as intended.
9. Intellectual property
The Service and its content — including the Find Her Trade name, logo, text, graphics, and design — are owned by SunStone Associates LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission, except for content you own.10. Third-party services
The Service integrates or links to third-party services, including login providers, our verification provider, and the websites of listed professionals. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT LISTINGS, REVIEWS, OR VERIFICATION INFORMATION ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY PROFESSIONAL OR THE WORK THEY PERFORM.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNSTONE ASSOCIATES LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANY PROFESSIONAL OR OTHER USER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED [the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim]. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
