Every applicant fills out a detailed survey before anything else. It covers three things: her work experience — years in the trade, licenses, certifications, and specialties; her background — where she's worked and how she operates; and who she is as a person, so we understand her values and how she'll show up in someone's home. This is where we learn both her craft and her character.

Independent third-party background check

Every applicant submits to a background check run by an independent third-party verification company that specializes in identity verification and background screening. We don't do this ourselves. An outside, specialized company verifies each person's identity and screens her background, so being listed is never a matter of taking anyone's word. Verification is built into the application, not an afterthought.

Next, she has a phone conversation with a member of our team. A Find Her Trade professional walks through a structured series of questions — about her experience, how she works inside a client's home, her professionalism and communication, and her references — to confirm she truly meets our criteria. A survey and a background check tell us the facts; the call tells us she's the right fit for the women who'll invite her in.
